John Wells is the founder of John Wells Entertainment, born and raised in Natchitoches, Louisiana, by his parents, Terri and Steve Wells. Under his father he began to learn the ins and outs of the sound engineering world. Steve, a full-time musician for over 30 years has closely mentored John on a wide variety of events. John has gained experience through running sound and lighting for his father's five piece cover rock band, Steve Wells Music, at events such as wedding receptions, debutante balls, Mardi-Gras krewe parties and many other events to give you the very best available in sound and lighting. John has also engineered sound for talent shows, football games, festivals, concerts, praise and worship services, beauty pageants, pep rallies, wedding ceremonies, church events, musical theatre, and the list continues to grow by the day!

In recent years, John Wells and his team has helped Pineville High Theatre, Peabody Magnet High School, and Alexandria Senior High School with their theatre productions, running sound and lighting for shows like, Little Shop of Horrors, The Wiz, The Color Purple, Matilda, Bright Star, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pippin, Seussical, She Loves Me, Legally Blonde, Clue on Stage, Into the Woods, Cats, Peter Pan, Saturday Night Fever, Hairspray, Fame, Beauty and the Beast and the list continues to grow. Tickets for public shows will be posted as soon as they become available on our social media. John and his team has had the great honor to work with Northwestern State University, LBM Productions and Louisiana Christian University helping behind the scenes with their theatrical productions and events as well! We would be happy to add you to our list!

John Wells' passion to give you the very best audio and visual experience drives his company and himself to achieve just that, the very best. John Wells Entertainment has the capabilities and knowledge to run a professional sound and lighting system for any size event, record/create 4K videos, live stream a multi-cam and graphic heavy production to your audience as well as a fully custom DVD and Blu-ray product of your events.  

John has worked throughout Louisiana with Drew Moore, David Praet, Mike Reynolds, Eric Paxton, Larry Habetz, and Hank Staples; locally in Natchitoches, Louisiana for many local events at the Natchitoches Events Center, also downtown at the riverfront stage off of Front Street, Wings Over Natchitoches - Airshow, First Baptist Church, First United Methodist Church, River Community Church, The Bridge Church, Westside Baptist Church, and also on campus for Northwestern State University. 

John has worked with artists such as We The Kings, Hot Chelle Rae, Mariah the Scientist, Emotional Oranges, 3OH!3, Danielle Bradbery, the Plain White T’s, the Baldknobbers Jamboree Show, Oak Ridge Boys, Colt Ford, Neal McCoy, Wayne Toups, Tracy Byrd, Rebirth Brass Band, Chicken on the Bone and other local artists including Harmon Drew Super Group, Trini Triggs, Molly Ringwalds, MoJeaux, Cody Cooke and the Bayou Outlaws, Steve Wells Music, Billy O'Con and Badd Apple, Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs, Nashville South, and many others.

John and his team aren't scared of a road trip to get the job done. He and his crew has gone as far as Destin, Florida for a wedding reception, and an annual corporate event.
